Omer Sarood is a seasoned professional with almost 25 years of experience in project and commercial strategy, currently serving as the Executive Director of Business Development for ACWA Power's Operations business unit. Omer has held various leadership roles, including General Manager and Director of Innovation & New Technologies, where they successfully implemented groundbreaking solutions in renewable energy projects. Omer's prior experience includes positions at GE and Engro Corp, emphasizing commercial management and technical leadership in energy and automation sectors. Omer is a chartered engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and has completed a leadership development course at GE Crotonville.
