Amit Redkar is a seasoned machine learning engineer currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at ACV Auctions since May 2021, where expertise includes training and optimizing YOLO-based architectures for vehicle damage detection and developing segmentation algorithms. Prior experience includes a tenure at NEC Laboratories America, Inc. as a Software Engineer focusing on deep learning models for video analytics, and a role at Launchpad.AI as a Machine Learning Engineer where model performance was assessed using GCP. Amit also gained valuable experience as a Data Science Intern at SaRA Health and an Engineering Intern at mindSHIFT, both involving database structuring and analysis. Amit holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai.
