Rachel Packham is an experienced media and communications professional with a solid background in journalism and public relations. Rachel served as the Media and Content Manager at UNSW Canberra from August 2020 to August 2022, leading the Media and Content team and overseeing public relations. Prior roles include Media and Content Coordinator at UNSW Canberra, where Rachel was responsible for content sourcing and dissemination, and freelance journalist positions across various publications, including OutInCanberra and The Canberra Times. In addition to a successful stint at Fairfax Media as a Creative Services Writer and Senior Editorial Producer, Rachel contributed to several print and online platforms. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Journalism with a major in Literary Studies from the University of Canberra, graduating in 2011, and currently works as an Assistant Director in Communications and Engagement with the ACT Government.
