Nzinga J. is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Achievement First since July 2025, having previously held a similar role at Uncommon Schools from November 2021 to April 2025. Nzinga J. also contributes as a Student Ambassador for UNCF since September 2018. Earlier professional experience includes working as a Polling Operator for the Board of Elections in the City of New York in 2018, where responsibilities included monitoring equipment and assisting with marketing campaigns. Nzinga J.'s earlier roles include serving as a Coach’s Representative/Assistant in the Finance and Administration Department at Virginia Union Athletics and as a Head Cashier at McDonald's, where efforts led to a significant increase in customer satisfaction. Nzinga J. is pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at Virginia Union University, expected to be completed in May 2025, and holds a Bachelor's degree from the same institution along with a high school diploma from Medgar Evers College Preparatory School.
