Raul Ramirez has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Raul started their career as a Customer Support representative at Utah State University IT Desk from August 2015 to June 2016. Raul then served as the Get Away Special Team Lead/Coordinator at Utah State University "Get Away Special" Team from June 2016 to May 2018, where they coordinated different sub-teams and worked on satellite and high altitude balloon projects. Raul gained valuable software development experience as a Student Software Engineer at Space Dynamics Laboratory from May 2018 to February 2019, where they developed software for calibrations and created GUIs using wxWidgets and Qt. From February 2019 to July 2021, Raul worked as a Software Developer at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah, where they ported software, upgraded applications, and added support for image rendering formats. More recently, Raul worked at TechMah Medical LLC as a Software Engineer from July 2021 to August 2022, before joining Accuray in August 2022, where they currently hold a Software Engineer position.

Raul Ramirez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from Utah State University between the years 2013 and 2018.
