Salmaan Ismail is currently the Head of Technology for Absa Regional Operations, where they define and execute IT strategies across various technology platforms in 10 African countries. Previously, Salmaan held multiple key positions at Absa Group, including Lead Engineer for Group Financial Crime and several roles focused on project management and technology implementation. Salmaan began their career in IT support at Faritec and has since developed extensive expertise in systems administration, service management, and technology leadership. They earned a BCOM in Computer and Information Systems and hold an ITIL V3 Foundation certification, alongside negotiation skills training from GIBS Business School.
