Lazaros Mavridis is currently the Director of International Data Science at AbbVie, where they lead the implementation and adoption of advanced analytics in the pharmaceutical sector. With a background as a scientist, Lazaros has worked on multidisciplinary projects in Chemo/Bio-informatics, creating innovative algorithms and mentoring students. They have held various roles, including Associate Director of Predictive Analytics at AbbVie and Research Fellow at multiple universities, where they developed tools like the "Predictor" software and the Protein Circular Dichroism Data Bank. Lazaros holds a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Aberdeen and a Master's Degree in Statistics with Medical Applications from The University of Sheffield.
