Friederike Junge is a Research Fellow and Head of Bioassay Sciences and Development at AbbVie, where they have been instrumental in advancing biologics analytical research since 2025. They previously served as a Group Leader and later as a Senior Principal Research Scientist at AbbVie Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG from 2013 to 2017. Friederike's career began at Abbott Laboratories, where they worked as a Laboratory Manager from 2011 to 2013. They hold a Doctorate in Biochemistry from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, obtained in 2011, and a Diplom in Biology from Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, completed in 2006.
