Riku Liira is a Senior Propulsion Systems Engineer at ABB Marine & Ports, where they manage a team of over 20 R&D professionals and oversee marine propulsion technology initiatives. Previously, Riku held roles including R&D Manager for Azipod® Mechanical Systems and Customer Support Manager, focused on communication and service activities for LNG carriers. They began their career as a Lead Engineer for Azipod Propulsion system projects, contributing to significant developments in mechanical engineering. Riku earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2003 to 2010.
