Dr. Billy S. Y. Akpebu is currently the Head of Validation & Verification at ABB Traction Converter GmbH, a position held since 2022. They previously served as Head of Measurement & Validation at Senvion GmbH from 2015 to 2018 and held various leadership roles in quality and environmental management throughout their career. Dr. Akpebu earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology Dresden, where they also completed their Master's degree in the same field.
