Suchindra Maiyuran is a Senior R&D Manager at 21st.BIO, where they lead strain engineering efforts. Previously, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Novozymes from 2010 to 2021, specializing as a fungal molecular biologist with over 15 years of experience in developing industrial enzymes and alternative food proteins. During their time at Novozymes, Suchindra contributed to more than 20 published and pending patents. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Molecular Biology at Flinders University.
