Goldman Sachs announced that Uber’s VP of Technology, Peeyush Nahar, will join the bank as a Partner and Global Head of the Consumer Business, effective June 1. | Full Story

JPMorgan Chase has promoted Marianne Lake and Jennifer Piepszak to be co-heads of consumer and community banking. Lake and Piepszak will take over from Gordon Smith, who will retire as Co-President and Co-COO at the end of the year. | Full Story

Revolut has revealed that last month it appointed Mikko Salovaara as its new Group Chief Financial Officer, filling the role that had been occupied on an interim basis since March 2020. Source | Full Story

Andreessen Horowitz announced Friday it has promoted Chris Lyons to General Partner. Lyons first joined a16z in 2013 as chief of staff to co-founder Ben Horowitz before launching the Cultural Leadership Fund (CLF) in 2018. | Full Story

TD Bank named Alissa Van Volkom as Head of U.S. Consumer Deposits, Products and Payments. She first joined TD in 2018 and previously served as the bank's SVP and Head of Customer, Product, and Digital Marketing.

MUFG has hired Managing Director Nick Cole and Managing Director Quinn Hall in addition to seven other bankers for the Restaurant Finance group of its Corporate and Investment Banking division. All nine hires join MUFG from Wells Fargo.

Barclays appointed David MacGown as a Managing Director in Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Banking. MacGown most recently worked as Head of Balance Sheet and Capital Structure Advisory within FIG Banking at Credit Suisse.

Barclays named Tim Devine as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) M&A. He most recently served as Head of Specialty Finance in the Americas within FIG Banking at Credit Suisse.

Citigroup appointed Lee Lung Nien to lead its South Asian private banking business, in addition to his existing role as Chairman of Citi Private Bank for South Asia.

Guggenheim Securities announced that Dino Dedić has joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director to expand coverage in its healthcare investment banking group. Dedić joins from Barclays where he most recently served as a Managing Director in its global healthcare group.

H&R Block has promoted Crystal Anderson to VP of Financial Services and elevated Joshua Brown to VP and Chief Information Security Officer. The company also hired Michaella Gallina from the Omnicom Group as VP of Investor Relations.

Metromile has hired Capital One marketing exec Troy Dye as SVP of Growth.

Brookwood Financial Partners announced that Ericka L. Ayles and Mark J. Daniels have each been promoted to partner of the firm.

GoldenTree Asset Management revealed that Simon Granger has been named Partner and Head of Restructuring & Turnarounds, EMEA. He was previously Senior Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance & Restructurings EMEA at FTI Consulting, London.

First Community Corporation announced that J. Thomas "Tommy" Johnson has retired from its Board of Directors after 17 years of service.

FirstPoint Equity Capital has appointed Jeff Davis as Partner - Private Credit. Davis joins from Eaton Partners, a global capital advisory firm where he was most recently Partner - Co-Head of Private Credit.

KB Financial Companies appointed Julie Straley as Managing Director of Family Office Services and Richard Rankin as Managing Director of KB Corporate Finance.

AEA Investors announced that Bobby Bassman from Morgan Stanley and Ravi Sarin from ROCA Partners have joined the firm to focus on growth investments in tech-enabled, software and healthcare services companies.

Praesidian Capital revealed that Lee Rosenthal will be joining the firm as an Operating Partner.

Cetera Financial Group has hired Chantalle Couba as the Joint Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer and Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO.

Tower Arch Capital announced that David Calder has rejoined the firm as a Principal. He rejoins the firm from The Halifax Group, where he has worked since 2017, most recently as a Principal.

Guaranty Bancshares, the parent company of Guaranty Bank & Trust, announced that Joel Johnson has been hired as the company’s Chief Digital Officer. Most recently, Johnson led UT Southwestern Medical Center’s digital initiatives by developing online and mobile channel interactions with data-driven performance solutions. Source

WebBank appointed Seth Goodman as SVP and Chief Revenue Officer. Goodman initially joined WebBank in May 2021 to lead business development, strategy and M&A.

Lincoln International added Jeff Cleveland as a Managing Director. Before joining Lincoln, Cleveland was a Managing Director at D.A. Davidson & Co.

Skyway Capital Markets appointed Bart Zanelli as Managing Director with a focus on financial institutions, insurance and healthcare.

Skyway Capital Markets has hired Frank McPartland as a Senior Advisor.

ShangBay Capital announced Dr. Malcolm Munro and Michael Wallace have joined as Senior Advisors.

River City Bank promoted Dan Franklin to Director of Commercial Real Estate.

United Bankshares elected Charles L. Capito, Jr. to its Board of Directors. Capito is the former Managing Director of the Wells Fargo Advisors Complex in West Virginia.

Perella Weinberg Partners announced that Christian Bradeen will be joining the Firm as a Partner on June 30, 2021. He most recently served as a Managing Director at Credit Suisse.

Liberty Capital Bank has promoted Ryan Friend from SVP to President. He assumes the responsibilities of President from Robin Wantland, who is retiring.

Adams Street Partners announced that Leland Richards joined the firm as a Partner on the Private Credit Team. Richards most recently served as Managing Director at Churchill Asset Management.

Fentura Financial and The State Bank have appointed Kelly Myers to the Board of Directors for both Fentura Financial, Inc. and The State Bank.

Sandy Spring Bank revealed that EVP Ronda McDowell will take on the new role of COO. The bank also promoted Heather Skigen Romagnoli to Division Executive and Chief Credit Officer.

Sandy Spring Bank named Lynne Pulford as President of Sandy Spring Bank Mortgage. The bank also named Carol Richardson as Community Banking Executive and Mark Moore as Division Executive for Corporate and Institutional Banking.

Heartland BancCorp announced that Jeff Ciochetto has joined Heartland Bank as SVP and Director of Credit Administration.

Idaho First Bank has promoted Todd Cooper to CEO following the retirement of Founder and former CEO Greg Lovell.
