Veeam
Data resilience leader Veeam, valued at $15 billion after a $2 billion secondary sale, is acquiring Securiti AI for $1.73 billion to strengthen data security and control in the AI era. Securiti founder Rehan Jalil, whose company raised $156 million in VC funding, will join Veeam as President of Security and AI. The move underscores Veeamās 2025 growth push and the broader trend of data firms consolidating to accelerate AI adoption.

Apple's AI unit just took another hit. Ke Yang ā the exec leading its AI-driven web search and Siriās AKI team ā has jumped ship to Meta. Itās the latest blow to Appleās AI ranks, throwing its much-hyped Siri revamp into question. With rivals racing ahead in AI search, Appleās talent drain couldnāt come at a worse time.
Ulta Beauty
Ulta Beauty has appointed Christopher DelOrefice as its new CFO, effective December 5. The former Becton Dickinson executive and two-decade Johnson & Johnson veteran joins with a $1M cash sign-on bonus as Ulta posts 9.3% Q2 net sales growth to $2.8B and accelerates its global expansion with the Space NK acquisition.
CoreWeave
In a move to fuel its hypergrowth, CoreWeave, the Essential Cloud for AI, has appointed Jon Jones as its first Chief Revenue Officer. Formerly “”³¾²¹³ś“DzŌās Global Head of Startups and Venture Capital, Jones brings over two decades of leadership experience to help scale products and sales and cement CoreWeaveās position as the go-to platform for AI innovation.
Expedia Group
Travel giant Expedia Group has appointed Rob Bevegni as Vice President of Investor Relations. With nearly two decades of finance experience at TamRidge Capital, Balyasny Asset Management, and °ä¾±³Ł²¹»å±š±ōās Aptigon Capital, Bevegni will help deepen investor relationships and spotlight the companyās long-term growth trajectory.
Panera Bread
Panera Bread has a new financial chef in the kitchen ā Earl Ellis joins as CFO, effective immediately. The former ABM Industries finance chief, with past stints at Coca-Cola and Kraft Foods, brings decades of experience to the table. His arrival comes at a ādefining phaseā for Panera as it sharpens its focus on its core business, enhances the guest experience, and cooks up long-term profitable growth.

Amidst a major security breach linked to nation-state hackers, F5 has appointed Michael Montoya as Chief Technology Operations Officer, effective October 13, 2025. Montoya, who previously worked for Microsoft and served as CISO for Equinix and Digital Realty, resigned from F5's board and his COO role at BlueVoyant to take on this critical new position.

Zayo
Zayo has named Chris Brown as President and COO as it embarks on a major expansion with its $4.25 billion acquisition of Crown Castleās Fiber Solutions business. With three decades of experience at Lubrizol and Berkshire Hathaway Energy Infrastructure Group, Brown will oversee the integration of Crown Castleās assets, adding 90,000 route miles and expanding Zayoās reach to 70,000+ on-net locations. His leadership will drive Zayoās push to strengthen fiber infrastructure supporting AI growth and digital innovation across the U.S.
